In his new theater performance, Diggy Dex takes the audience on his personal journey of discovery. Dex: “What exactly does happiness consist of? In love? In parenthood? In success? In friendship? In music? In connection? I've been trying to find the words for that for years. From the first lyrics I wrote as a teenager, to songs like Treur Niet (Ode To Life), La Vie Est Belle and De Zon Op: all my songs are a quest for meaning and happiness.”

While Diggy Dex previously usually performed on stage with a band, he only brings his regular guitarist René van Mierlo with him on tour. Dex: “I'm looking forward to playing in a small, intimate setting. In recent years we mainly performed in the larger pop venues and festivals. Great, because playing with the entire band always gives a lot of energy. But now it feels good to go a little 'smaller' again. In this tour there is even more room for the story behind the songs. I'm really looking forward to that.”
