Viko and Thor work in their workshop while singing. Then suddenly something bothers you. It doesn't fit anywhere. It doesn't belong anywhere. Such a beautiful and rough and special Wood cannot just be a problem. To the rhythm of sawing, chopping and planing, they look for the story behind this unexpected piece of wood.

During a journey through wood shavings, splinters and plasters, they discover a small jungle of possibilities. Houtje is about dreaming of wood, daring to get lost along the way and discovering something new. A performance at the intersection of theater, woodworking and music.
