Peace for our time is a musical journey through the history of European peace. At its heart are the moral dilemmas of three figures who chose peace, but who were also mistaken in doing so. Former British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, who shakes Hitler’s hand and utters the famous words ‘I believe it is peace for our time’. Émile Arnaud, one of the founders of pacifism, who volunteers for the army in the First World War. Andrii Kobaliya, a young journalist who, after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, trades his pen for a Kalashnikov.

After their successful shows De meester and Margarita and ILIAS, KONVOOI presents Peace for our time as a theatrical concert. In the spirit of Neville, Émile and Andrii, they stand up for peace one more time with their own set of battle songs - ranging from classical and jazz to poppy protest songs - by singing its praises.
