THINX on tour | Sectie-C -
Section-C is a terrain buzzing with maker energy. And that is exactly what the core of THINX is about: creators are given space to grow, research and share work while it is still in development. That is why Parktheater Eindhoven is bringing THINX to Section-C. Here, performance does not land on a stage alone, but in the middle of a landscape where every day is made.
The timetable
The programme includes various talented theatre makers who show performances across the entire site.
Trash Club - The Deconstruction Zone (2026) | Performance
Welcome to the Landfill: the place where everything that was once loved and has been thrown away never really disappears. Waste, human and otherwise, turns into fantastic creatures that explore the wasteland deep in your trash can. There's drama! There's action! Let's hear it for the artist and the oak!
Trash Club is a performance collective of international students from the Design Academy Eindhoven. The group creates performances about consumerism, with scenography and costumes that recognize waste as the megastar it is. Trash Club makes single-use performances; during THINX, members Chantal Kluitman & Erle Hobbs perform The Deconstruction Zone.
Xandry van den Besselaar en Johnny Mirer – Carte Blanche | Audio-installatie
In the audio systemWith me?, a woman calls her lover, his answering machine, to hear his voice one last time. She tells her lover about everyday life without him. The messages paint a picture of their relationship and how the woman should say goodbye after the sudden death of her lover. It is a poetic monologue about the search for comfort and perspective in deep despair.
Please note: this performance has a limited capacity of 6 people. Please register at the info point on the day itself.
Bas van de Ven & Tom Jacobs | Experiment
Tom Jacobs investigates the interaction between man and art. In part of his work, he looks through anthropological glasses. Jacobs holds up a mirror to humanity and shows how people and societies behave unconsciously.
Bas van de Ven is a music theatre maker and follows a trajectory within THINX. Absurdity and imagination are elements in his work. For a unique collaboration, they join forces to create, experiment and challenge each other during a residency at Section-C.
