ABBA Gold Europe
No wonder Abba is more popular than ever, more than fifty years after the group burst onto the world stage! It’s no coincidence that so many musicians have played Abba’s repertoire. It is a masterclass in pop music.
Not many singers can hit the high and low notes that Agnetha and Frida managed to reach – and certainly not with the suppleness and quality they had, and that their music had too. In its day, Bjorn and Benny’s music was groundbreaking, and it is still widely copied and ‘borrowed’ in today’s pop songs.
ABBA GOLD EUROPE is a tribute to Abba’s music in its original form: two women, fantastic songs and an irresistible rock ’n’ roll band. Featuring original members of the cast of Mamma Mia the musical in London. It will be a real party with all the classics – Dancing Queen, The Winner Takes It All, Waterloo, Take A Chance On Me ... and so much more. To Abba: Thank You For The Music!
