Bas Birker
In his latest comedy show Bas Birker dives into the wondrous world beneath his skull. Because you can rely on your reason for over 40 years because you never learned anything else; when your feelings suddenly run off with you, you keep running into yourself so often and so hard that you could start a comedy double act with yourself. And so Bas tells how a clever boy did stupid things. And why you are blessed with a simple view of the world, and cursed if you think you know it all. With ‘Twee procent’ Bas Birker is ready for his sixth full-length theatre show. Bas has also been one of the regular columnists on ‘Het Middagjournaal’ of Nieuwe Feiten on Radio 1 for years. He is currently touring with a selection of these columns in a talk entitled ‘Liefste Landgenoten,’. Bas is also one of the regular “Tafelspringers” on De Tafel van Gert (GoPlay).
