But is that also possible if you try so forcefully to keep it nice and light? The brothers avoid, deny and do their utmost to keep it from being about anything all evening. Just have a good laugh, what more could you want at this time? Right?
Joey & Dave Biography:
For brothers Joey and Dave, humor has always been a way to soften, discuss or at least heavily deny intense life events. A family trait. Yet the differences are large. As an older brother, Joey feels responsible for everything. Dave likes to avoid any form of responsibility.
In 2022, they reached the final of the Cameretten festival with their first theater program Verbrand Je Vingers Niet - a sharp performance about the death of their father. In the theater they mainly want to share personal stories, create recognizable situations, discuss difficult themes and expose painful differences.
