Kamerata Zuid met Francis van Broekhuizen
The afternoon begins with ‘Warmdraaien’ (Warming Up) in the foyer: an intimate opening act with singer Yvon Kanters, centred on stories and songs from the audience. This is followed by the concert, where music and movement come together. Guided by choreographer Andrew Greenwood, you’ll experience how you can move to music while seated in your chair, with a smile and a beneficial effect on body and mind.
Afterwards, the Nationaal Ouderenfonds invites you to the cosy ‘Music Café’ to chat, share memories and meet new people. It promises to be a musical afternoon full of familiar favourites, new encounters and fun.
In recent years, Kamerata Zuid has showcased a surprising classical sound with a wide range of artists, from Eloi Youssef and Ellen ten Damme to Karin Bloemen and Maarten Heijmans. The string orchestra is celebrating its tenth anniversary with a special edition of Grijs Gedraaid featuring Francis van Broekhuizen.
