Lia van Bekhoven
Lia van Bekhoven moved to London in the late 1970s. Filter coffee did not exist, British homes had carpeted toilets and Prince Charles had yet to begin his first marriage.
Since then, she covered all political and social developments in the country. From peace negotiations in Northern Ireland, the rise of Harry Potter and the exit from the EU to the death of Princess Diana. The question about the fortunes of the royals was the most constant.
In the theater special Living (and suffering) with the British, this 'Dutch Londoner' tells us - tongue in cheek - about how she provides the Netherlands and Belgium with stories, what the British are like and what she wore to that garden party at Buckingham Palace.
