Loes Luca en The Ramblers
A musical celebration for young and old
Together with The Ramblers – the oldest professional jazz orchestra in the Netherlands, founded in 1926 – Loes Luca takes you on a time journey through the rich Dutch music history.
With classics such as Wie is Loesje and Remember, that evening in the rain, but also fresh, swinging arrangements of hits from Yes, Sister, No Sister and 't Schaep met de 5 Pooten.
A tribute to the past, a nod to the present
Led by trumpeter and composer Loet van der Lee, the 12-piece top orchestra breathes new life into golden arrangements of, among others, Strike Up The Band, Avalon and Farewell Blues.
Historical highlights from the Ramblers past are also discussed, such as the collaboration with jazz icon Coleman Hawkins.
