In the first half you imagine yourself in Portugal with the profound, melancholic sounds of Maria de Fátima's pure fado. After the break you travel through Spain with a refined mix of flamenco, Latin and jazz, presented by Raquel Kurpershoek.

Maria de Fátima is a renowned fado singer, born in Lisbon. She is considered an important ambassador of fado and Portuguese culture abroad. With an impressive career that began at the age of 12 and numerous albums, she is praised for her authentic and passionate interpretation of traditional fado. Maria is accompanied by two guitarists, the classical guitar and the Portuguese guitar.

Raquel Kurpershoek is an Amsterdam-born artist who grew up between the Netherlands and Spain. With an Andalusian mother, a flamenco dance teacher, and a father who is an art historian and traveler, she developed a unique style that combines the rhythms of flamenco with the musical diversity of the world. She is known for her ability to weave genres such as Latin and jazz into her work. Raquel is accompanied by a pianist and multi-percusionist.
