Roel en Jos Maalderink
Roel and Jos Maalderink, known from the satirical VPRO TV programme Plakshot, made an immediate impression with their theatre debut, so the brothers are back with a reprise of their hit cabaret show Verbroedering.
People often find it hard to believe that Roel and Jos are brothers, because they are so different. After going head to head for seven seasons in Plakshot, they are now taking each other on in the theatre.
The Netherlands is now two iconic brothers richer. In 1672 the De Witt brothers were lynched, in 1995 the De Boer brothers won the Champions League and in 2002 the Ko brothers had a horn on their jet ski. Roel and Jos have neither a horn nor a jet ski, but they do now have a full-length show.
A childhood friend of Roel and Jos, and one of the people who co-wrote this show, comes from Veldhoven: Peter. He played korfball at SDO. Roel spent a lot of time there in his teens as well.
