After endless performances as Woody Sings, with which he plays songs by his heroes, and diverse collaborations such as the six-piece S.T Cordell, with which he makes exciting analogue techno, tragic-romantic country duo Polly & Bruce and acoustic folk duo Woody & Paul, with which Veneman released no fewer than seven albums, it is now time for Veneman himself.
With two decades of inspiration and experience in his bones, Woody Veneman now plays his own material, his own songs, his own work. The man and his guitar, where it all started.
Collaboration is in Veneman's blood. This evening he will also perform a number of his songs with a ruthless rhythm section consisting of drummer Lola Heijdt and bassist Joni Houtman, a trio under the name Woody & The Nine Wives.
