Hannah grew up on the muddy banks of Muscle Shoals – her ‘native soil’ is made of music and Alabama. Her songs strike a delicate balance between rebellion and self-discovery, a reckoning between coming of age in the South and a lifetime spent trying to forge an identity beyond it. With a voice as rough as it is melodic, Hannah set out on the road and has entertained audiences in ten countries across three continents with her acclaimed albums and live shows.
Her music walks a fine line between the genial charm of Americana and the raw, hypnotic quality of what some might call ‘noir indie pop’. Aldridge draws on a charming mix of strength and vulnerability, telling her stories with the conviction of a church bell ringing through the streets of a small Alabama town.
