Or cut yourself loose from everyday concerns, with nothing but fresh water, a big writing pad and plenty of pencils. With only the endless sky above and the wine-dark waters beneath you. What half-mad stories would you dream up?
Welcome to the mythical world of the Sons of Town Hall, the unlikely alliance of Ben Parker from London, England and David Berkeley from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Parker, a much sought-after songwriter / producer / multi-instrumentalist in London, and Berkeley, a celebrated singer / songwriter / guitarist / author, have created a world that transcends time and space, complete with Victorian outfits, meditations on the Sea and songs that beg to be sung along to.
Their performance leaves you with a heart full of laughter and tears, drunk on adventure and on the tragic beauty of human existence.
