The carnival farce of Genesius is at the (hotel) door again.
This year again a big hit.
It all takes place in a hotel where a newlywed couple stays and wants to spend their promising wedding night.
At the same time there is a music festival in town and the musicians are also staying in this hotel.
A bustle and confusion everywhere, as usual in a farce.
The creamy Helmonds and the Helmond situations add extra gravy to the performance or the icing on the wedding cake.
The manager of the hotel walks on his toes to do well for everyone and the clerk walks his legs out from under his ass.
Who is who and who belongs to whom?
If you think this can't get any crazier, it really does get crazier.
The bridal couple are at a loss until everything seems to work out as it should.
Would it?
No more hiccups?
In short, a farce with all the ingredients for an evening of laughing, screeching, roaring.
The direction is once again in the trusted hands of Willeke Weerts and the players are eager to get out of the starting blocks.
This year too, the halls are filling up very quickly.
The hotel is almost sold out and of course we don't want an overbooking.
The manager and certainly the clerk can no longer handle that.
