Ronald Snijders
After his successful show Als Mens, which received four stars from de Volkskrant and was named by NRC as one of the ten best shows of 2024, absurdist Ronald Snijders returns with a new show: Leven met humor.
Ronald was diagnosed with humour at an early age. It turned out to be a very specific form: absurd, wordy and dry, sometimes bordering on the silly. Humour he has since learned to live with. He even made it his profession: ‘By sharing my humour as much as possible, I hope that there will be people, in my audience of all places, who can laugh at it.’ Frequently found forms of Snijders’ humour include alliteration at the start of this sentence, offhand one-liners, other songs, chopped-up dialogues and new words.
Ronald Snijders became unknown for De alfabetweter and De AlfabetBeter, his dictionaries of made-up words with Fedor van Eldijk, as well as Een normaal boek, Een ander Boek and, more recently, Geen Boek.
Leven met humor is Snijders’ seventh one-man show.
