“It takes a village to raise a child,” they say. And there was always the shade of the flats where you could hide from the sun or accidentally get into an unpleasant situation.

Glen's father gave him a box on his way, filled with the ideas, life lessons and experiences you need to be a man. Glen took this box with him and everyone was allowed to add something to it. When his own son turned 21, Glen wanted to hand the box over to him. But he took another look and thought: 'this box needs to be cleaned up before I pass it on'.

MALEBOXtakes you on a rhythmic journey through the choices Glen Faria has made in his life - choices that shape him into the man he is today. He is assisted musically and theatrically by the ZO! Gospel Choir, in a brutal, quickly edited direction by Priscilla Vaudelle.
