Ellen ten Damme

Muziek

Ellen ten Damme will take over the theater this fall with her new show Medusa (try-out). With brand new, self-composed songs, including the brutal and feminist single Rare Dingen, and repertoire from previous albums, she serves an intimate, energetic performance full of movement and musicality.

With lyrics in Dutch, but also ancient Greek (no one speaks it anymore but Ellen will sing it), English, German and French, she flirts with the audience and breaks the rules. Ellen ten Damme investigates what Medusa means in the tryouts together with pianist Thijs Cuppen. Is her role sacred or pagan, sexy or divine, sweet or tough? Discover it together with Ellen during the try outs.
