Joël Borelli
An energetic solo show with a personal story, music and humour
In JOIE DE VIVRE, Joël takes you along on a personal quest. Cycling towards Paris in search of ‘the man’ – a mythical master of theatre and success. Halfway there, he gets a phone call from the Netherlands. Would he like to be the face of a huge event at the Philips Stadion? Dream or certainty. Silence or the masses. Church or funfair.
What follows is a sharp, funny and musical show in which Joël questions himself, celebrates life and takes the audience along in his dilemma. With strong songs, humour and unexpected twists.
JOIE DE VIVRE is not a choice between two worlds, but a musical collision of ambition, doubt and success.
