Rob Kemps
The greatest chansonnier of all time is not French. He is a Belgian from Flanders who spoke French. A man from Schaerbeek, who left home and hearth to achieve world fame in Paris. He spent his last days at Hiva Oa. And he is buried there too. For Rob Kemps it is clear: Jacques Brel is the greatest. In Don't Leave Me Alone, Rob now takes us over the world. In the footsteps of Brel. He talks about the music and especially the life of his hero with equal parts humor and emotion. And therefore also about his own life. Rob has no choice. Because a life without Brel is no life.
