With their debut show, Blauwe Vinkjes took Dutch theatres by storm. In 2021 Kevin van den Berg and Manon Blaauw reached the final of Cameretten and that same year won the audience award at the Amsterdams Studenten Cabaretfestival. As fresh, uninhibited self-taught performers they dived into the deep end of the cabaret pool, and they are cheerfully swimming on!
In their second show, ‘Poeha’, they once again make a revue-style theatre form their own, with a contemporary vision and approach. The duo is even more personal and takes sharp aim at the everyday fuss and fanfare. Expect an evening full of colourful characters, hilarious sketches, catchy songs, all sharply woven together with current events.
