Bob Koomen
This show is part of the '3x theatre for € 33' offer. Want to take advantage of it? Then order your tickets via this page, which explains how to make use of the offer.
Bob is a genius, but the world hasn't noticed. He has good intentions and even better ideas. Ideas to help the world – except the world often acts as if he's the one who needs help. This show is an attempt to reach a compromise on the matter.
This quasi-absurdist show explores how strange it is to be alive and searches for something to hold on to in this odd existence. You'll benefit from it for the rest of your life.*
*So to speak.
Bob is a member of Comedytrain and was a finalist at the Leids Cabaret Festival 2025. He has also performed at Lowlands for the past three years, and you may know him from his appearance on Lubach.
“He intrigued with a surprising performance in which he revealed himself as a committed doubter, with a head full of unexpected questions and alternatives to a sometimes unruly reality.” - NRC on the final of the Leids Cabaret Festival
"Seeing the world through the eyes of Bob Koomen not only brings brilliant insights – above all, it's hugely funny." - Kasper van der Laan
Reprise This show was also on at our theatre in the 2025-2026 season.
