De Theatertroep
Today we have come together to remember. Old acquaintances. Mixed feelings. Someone who can’t stop crying. Someone else who laughs everything off. The wrong jokes at the wrong moments. Speeches that go on too long. Who loved the deceased the most? Who has the greatest right to grieve? They say death brings people together. But grief can also drive them apart.
A comedy with a black border, which borrows its title (but really only the title!) from the famous romcom ‘Four weddings and a funeral’. An evening full of miscommunication, slapstick, inappropriate remarks, old and new conflicts and hilariously awkward scenes. Speak no ill of the dead? De Theatertroep and Magne van den Berg beg to differ.
