Jeroens Clan

Jeroens Clan

Cabaret

Jeroens Clan is having a hard time. All. Terribly. Heavy. Bram Kroon, Jip de Poorter and Matthias Tuns carry an enormous burden on their shoulders. A YOKE.

After successful performances about their twisted friendship ('Delicate Souls') and their unstable love lives ('Short Metten'), in 'JUK' the Clan focuses on everything that we all suffer from.

In addition, the men search for the causes of their own traumas, setbacks and shortcomings. But now that they are in their thirties, who can blame them for that? Their parents? The rest of the world? Or especially each other?

JUK: musical, smart, sharp, vulnerable and above all funny zap cabaret.

The press about 'Short work'

  • Jacques d'Ancona in Dagblad v/h Noorden ★★★★: “A daring show full of fuss, noise and energy.”

  • Theo Maassen in Algemeen Dagblad: “I had a giggle that wouldn't stop.”

  • Theaterkrant: “The key to this cabaret form is certainly not that the trio is foul-mouthed, as reviews repeatedly claim, but that Tuns, Kroon and De Poorter play with irony in an intelligent way.”

  • De Telegraaf: “Jeroens Clan can be called a sensation.”

  • Het Parool: “Tough cabaret by three vulnerable men.”

  • NRC: “The trio stands out with sharp and funny dialogues.”
