Klaas van der Eerden
After making his hugely successful comeback to the theater last two seasons with 'Blijven drift', born entertainer Klaas van der Eerden is now back with a brand new cabaret programme: 'Imperfect'. Because let's be honest: life only becomes really interesting when things aren't quite right.
In 'Imperfect' Klaas embraces everything that rubs, squeaks and creaks and doesn't go as planned. With his characteristic energy he thunders across the stage in a whirlwind of personal anecdotes, physical jokes, musical highlights and razor-sharp observations. Nothing or no one is spared, least of all himself. Does he really have to cross the border for a new hairline? Are those sporty thin neighbors really happier? And how do you pretend that sugar-free cake is really tasty at a party?
Just like in his previous performance, it will be an evening full of pace, surprises and above all: lots of laughter. But anyone who knows Klaas knows that he can also touch you in between. Behind the bravado and hilarity there is always a sincere look at life. Because it is precisely in our clumsiness, doubt and failures that the most beautiful humor is hidden.
