Luuk Weggemans

This show is part of the '3x theatre for € 33' offer. Want to take advantage of it? Then order your tickets via this page, which explains how to make use of the offer.

Things can move fast. A few years ago Luuk didn't even know he wanted to be a comedian; now he has a well-stocked trophy cabinet, is a regular face on the satirical NTR programme 'De Fiksers', warms up the audience for ‘LUBACH’ and is heading into theatres with his very first full-length pop-comedy show: ‘Lach maar om mij’.

Armed with sharp jokes and spot-on songs, Luuk Weggemans, winner of the audience award and the personality award at Cameretten, will give it absolutely everything to give you an unforgettable evening. In his debut show ‘Lach maar om mij’, Luuk doesn't just introduce himself to the audience – he tries straight away to be as honest and vulnerable as possible. Whatever that may mean. And above all, he'll do his very best to make you laugh so hard that all your worries cease to exist, just for a moment. Sounds good, right?

"When the whole world slowly seems like a different world when you've seen through the shitshow come here and laugh at me When the panic won't subside there are so many fears when every way out is a dead end come here and laugh at me

xx Luuk"

What the press say about Luuk:

• The Cameretten jury: “Luuk Weggemans is an energetic and engaging performer who is completely at ease on stage, wraps the audience around his finger and piles joke upon joke.”
• Theaterkrant: “Weggemans seems able to joke about anything. He plays the room, responds to the news of the day and switches effortlessly from a beautifully sung song to a quarter of an hour of jokes, japes and audience interaction.”
