Oedipus
A beautiful musical performance of this beautiful play about Oedipus, king of Thebes.
Oedipus tries to find the cause of a deadly plague that strikes the city of Thebes. An oracle reveals that the disaster will only end when the murderer of the previous king is found. Oedipus decides to find out the truth at all costs. During his investigation, more and more clues emerge that relate to his own past. Ultimately, his search leads to a shocking discovery.
Studio Antigone will play Oedipus as the breathtaking thriller that it is. With, of course, the language of Sophocles, who has easily survived his 2,500 years, as the radiant center.
A performance about the truth and the role it plays in society. How does a person respond to the truth when it does not please him?
And just like in classical performances, the choirs will sing. With authentic music from the 5th century (BC).
