Ramon Chatrer ('sjatree' is Old French for 'castration') is looking forward to it, because it's going to happen tonight! His second cabaret program 'VOLK' received rave four-star reviews and Theaterkrant named it 'Critic's Choice'.
With his charming appearance and tousled hair, Chatrer discusses growing up in a small Brabant village and the hustle and bustle in 'the big city' where he now lives. There are people everywhere and Ramon always doesn't quite fit in. This results in a lot of jokes, surprising stories and acclaimed songs that are influenced by funk, soul and blues on bass guitar, among other things. With 'VOLK', Chatrer tells an impressive and important story about the secrets in a cozy Brabant village. “An evening that will remain in your memory for a long time,” said the press.

About Ramon
Ramon Chatrer is a comedian and singer. He won all prizes at the Groningen Student Cabaret Festival and was in the final of the Amsterdam Kleinkunstfestival. He also appeared for six months with Giel Beelen on Radio NPO 2 with a musical column. He is currently touring throughout the Netherlands with his second full-length performance 'VOLK'.
