Ruud Smulders
This show is part of the '3x theatre for € 33' offer. Want to take advantage of it? Then order your tickets via this page, which explains how to make use of the offer.
In ‘RÜDSICHTSLOS’, Ruud once again catapults his elastic body across the stage, firing his absurd thoughts into the auditorium with unprecedented speed and energy. The audience again gets to see Ruud's vulnerable, sincere side. A calm, thoughtful young man who not only delivers a pointed life lesson, but who at times also gently takes your hand and leads you into his world of madness.
His previous show urged the audience to love those who cannot love themselves. In ‘RÜDSICHTSLOS’, Ruud asks a new question: how much do we actually love ourselves? And what happens if we dare to do so more?
Ruud also adds an extra layer. Where he used to look mainly inwards, he now turns his sharp gaze on the world around him. A socially engaged voice we hadn't heard from him before, but one that hits all the harder.
About Ruud Ruud was nominated for a Neerlands Hoop for his previous show ‘RUDIVERSUM’. You may also know him from his appearance on Lubachs Comedy Club.
