The bastard child of humor can shine in the spotlight again! 'The National Evening of Word Jokes' is a fast, cheerful show in which the word joke is presented in all its forms. With the better jokes you will make a good impression at the coffee machine. The worst jokes are immediately thrown into the shredder amid loud cheers. And that's not just any shredder, but it's the shredder in need!

The show draws on around 200 jokes, divided into themes. In addition to these 'regular' jokes, there are several special parts that rely on audience interaction. For example, we play the quiz 'Finish it' with the entire audience, interview a guest who often has to deal with puns, and the attendees can submit a pun during the break, which is then brought to the stage by Vic & Mic.

Michiel Eijsbouts is a presenter, program maker and writer. He tours the country with De Speld Live, is making waves with his family podcast Watizzut and presented De Sterrenbingo on De Parade.

Victor Mastboom is a TV maker, copywriter and occasionally writes a book. He makes, among other things, I Know Everything About It! and Media Inside, was editor of Propria Cures and published, among other things, King of the Coffee Machine - a successful career thanks to humor.
