The show grew out of a confronting silence after the question “Which Human Rights?” during a collaboration with a theatre company in Palestine. That silence is the starting point for a search for the meaning and universality of human rights, and for the role each of us plays in them.

In a hypnotic live performance, constant transformation takes centre stage. Of form, of voice, of perspective: every number is a visual and musical metamorphosis. Extravagant, self-designed costumes and a rich soundscape of world music and spoken word heighten the experience.

Human(s) Right? offers no answers, but invites you to feel, think and look. Rather than untangling the complexity, the show reveals the tangle of our times in all its layers. A unique encounter between concert and performance, where protest and imagination meet.
