InBelieverswe follow Marvin, who owes a debt to his housing association. Volunteer Sam knocks on his door with good cheer, thinking it's simple post-anxiety, but finds out that Marvin is being evicted from his house, tonight. She ends up in a whirlwind of agencies, creditors and policymakers. Sam is given an impossible assignment: can she help Marvin?

Believersshows the powerlessness of an individual in the face of large creditors in a world where debts mean the inevitable demise of one and at the same time are an excellent earnings model for the other. Marvin is fighting a system that isn't designed for people in need, and he doesn't seem to be winning. He sees no way out and pulls the bell, in fact, he pulls all the bubbles he can find. 

Believersis made in close cooperation with the Humanitas association. In the run-up to this performance, the creators joined them as volunteers in order to be able to sketch, up close, a recognizable and human perspective of what it means to be a volunteer. This urgent, humorous performance shows the complexity of assistance and gives a stage to those who try to help others.
