De Herontdekking van de Hemel - Manu van Kersbergen
From the perspective of a father trying to explain to his children what is happening in the world, Van Kersbergen weaves personal stories together with social themes such as racism, conflict, identity and resistance.
The show was nominated for the Theo d’Or, selected by the Dutch Theatre Jury and programmed at North Sea Jazz. With poetic urgency, deep emotion and musical layering, Van Kersbergen touches on something many people feel but find hard to put into words.
