The MidwinterSalsa festival takes place in collaboration with the Wim van Doorne Music Kiosk next to the Parktheater and Dansschool Salsapati. At the request of the many salsa dancers, we are organising this swinging salsa party in the middle of winter for the second time. The atmospheric Grand Foyer of the Parktheater, with its excellent wooden dance floor, has proven to be the perfect venue.

Salsa band Bambuko provides the live musical energy, alternating with danceable sets by DJ Aldair. There is also a dazzling salsa demonstration. The afternoon begins at 13.30 with a free beginners’ workshop by dance school Salsapati, led by dance teacher Lea.

Here everyone can learn the basic steps, so you can join in for the rest of the afternoon to wonderful salsa, bachata, cha-cha and other Latin music. So make sure you arrive on time!
