De Hitbingo Band
The five-piece semi-acoustic band races through seven decades of pop history in short, energetic medleys, from Elvis to Dua Lipa. For every song, the bingo machine picks a quiz question. Enter the answer on your phone, tick off a square, and whoever gets five in a row gets to come up on stage for a festive finale full of improvisation, interaction and applause.
The show is hosted by cabaret performer and singer Dianne Liesker (Tis Hier Geen Hotel, Comedy Train), a delightfully unhinged entertainer who takes the audience along with humour and energy into a cheerful chaos. Together with the band she creates a warm, lively sound in which virtuosity and the joy of playing take centre stage. The presentation is playful, slightly absurdist and musically surprising.
De Hitbingo Band feels like a musical journey through time: familiar and surprising at the same time. An evening for young and old, for music lovers and bingo fanatics. Sing along, play along and go home beaming.
