Jan Henk won, among others: the Grand Prix of the Netherlands audience award in 2001, the DvhN regional language award in 2014 and 2020 for his albums Weerom and De wolf is trug. In 2014 he received the Grunny (RTVNoord music prize) for his services to Groningen music.
