He is now tried and tested and after the release of his last album "Monday when we are rich" it is already seven albums further. Van de Doelen is a character where a smile is never far away. Who can tell a story. No poetic bullshit but true words. About how often he didn't get home until 6 in the morning, when all the bars had long since closed. About how he only now realizes how lonely she must have been then. About how he had to climb that monkey rock like a man. And about how she finally, without another word, takes him back into her arms as only a woman can.

Van der Doelen likes to hold a mirror up to his listeners in his real, sincere, sometimes a bit uncomfortable but above all honest stories. Van der Doelen calls himself, with a wink, the pearl of Brabant. In our opinion, completely justified!
