Marjolijn van Kooten
We know Marjolijn from her previous sold-out shows about panic, worrying and pills. Her honest, deadpan cabaret full of self-mockery is a genre in itself and fills theatres all over the Netherlands. In this show she wonders why we only really appreciate life once somebody has died. Or fallen ill. Couldn’t we manage that a bit sooner? Does someone have to drop dead before we feel alive? Dark humour, tender songs and shameless stories: that’s Van Kooten to a T. She’ll certainly do her bit.
