Richard Groenendijk
Groenendijk has become a fixture of Dutch theatres. His previous show ‘Voor iedereen beter’ was received with rave reviews from press and public alike, and earned him the prestigious ‘Poelifinario’, the award for the best cabaret show of the season. An award, incidentally, that he was receiving for the second time in his career.
According to the press, Groenendijk can do it all. Reviews call him crude, subtle, endearing, sensitive, serious and, above all, hilarious. A man who delivers a bloodbath of cheerful insults, yet always makes room for tenderness and valuable reflection. A mercilessly funny born entertainer at the height of his powers.
