Their beautiful singing together with calm instrumentation of mainly Banjo, Mandolin and guitar gives a harmonic and surprising outcome: intense and layered songs that still listen easily. It is not for nothing that the duo became "Artist of the Year" at the International Folk Music Awards and they can count Mary Gauthier as their greatest fans. With their penultimate album Honest (2019), which was internationally seen as one of the best Americana albums of the year, the duo settled definitively in the international Americana world. During its recordings, a documentary was also made about them called "Across The Quiet" who recently had his premiere at the Bayou Film Festival where they also won the prize for: "Best Louisiana Film".
