Thijs is normally kindness itself, but recently even he was pushed to the proverbial edge. He was on the verge of taking the law into his own hands – which, given that he’s all thumbs, was a fairly hopeless mission anyway. In 2025 Thijs made a wonderful documentary series, ‘Overijsselse Streken’, for RTV Oost and played a very successful tour in the east of the country with his dialect show ‘Oaverdrieven ku’j het beste met nen boot’.
