The hilarious golden oldie comedy ‘BOEING BOEING’ was last performed fifteen years ago, with Jon van Eerd in one of the lead roles. This season he takes the director’s chair for a fresh new adaptation of this theatre smash hit. 

In this priceless comedy we meet businesslike Eva (Loiza Lamers), who is juggling no fewer than three lovers. At her luxury holiday villa by the sea she enjoys her holiday according to a strict schedule in which the men, three pilots, should in principle never run into each other, leaving Eva free to enjoy herself to the full. Or so she thought! Because she hadn’t reckoned with a series of unexpected changes to flight schedules and a storm over the ocean that throw everything into utter chaos. And as if that weren’t bad enough, the arrival of her hapless, head-in-the-clouds friend Connie (Rian Gerritsen) makes the situation a whole lot more complicated. Eva’s house friend and penniless influencer Arthur (Barry Beijer) also adds his fair share to a bag already crammed with misunderstandings and panic. Air Italia Gino (Patrick Martens), Air France Louis (Thomas Cammaert) and Lufthansa Ludwig (Loek Peters) threaten to lower their landing gear all at once, and the romantic plans soon turn into an emergency the likes of which international aviation has never seen.

What should have been a pleasant, romantic and varied holiday soon becomes an international approach path full of priceless farcical misunderstandings, ludicrous mix-ups and side-splitting panic! It promises to be an adventure in which, biting your nails with nervous giggles and bouncing in your seat with howling disbelief, you’ll see the auditorium explode into a storm of laughter like never before.
