Alone Together is a contemporary, musical Christmas story about loneliness and closeness. About differences that seem big, but can still be bridged. About Christmas and tradition, but also about that special moment when something turns and you come together. You will hear new Christmas carols that you will automatically sing along to. A story from resistance to connection. Baritone Marcel van Dieren and actress/singer Olinda Larralde Ortiz present the contemporary Christmas story accompanied by the Arthema Quartet and trumpeter Sjoerd Pauw. The libretto is by Jibbe Willems and the music by Lucas Wiegerink, the makers behind the successful production The Complaint of Peace.
