In Fábrica, choreographer Guilherme Miotto transforms the theatre into a workshop of rhythm and movement. Four performers build a universe in which every sound and every step can be felt. Percussion is the beating heart of the show. With an arsenal of instruments, an exuberant interplay between music and dance unfolds. Every touch provokes a reaction. Every sound vibrates through the body. 

Fábrica is raw and playful at the same time. Body and sound become intertwined. As the boundary between them blurs, a sensory experience emerges that escapes the everyday. What we see and hear opens up space for association: a reality in which sound and movement create a language of their own.

Choreographer Miotto: “Percussionists come closest to the essence of my work. I have always tried to blur the line between inner and outer realities, and I think the sonic vibrations of percussion come closest to that experience. Vibration is created. Outside the body it vibrates just as hard as inside the body. Fábrica celebrates their entanglement. 

Corpo Máquina Society is the dance company of choreographer Guilherme Miotto (1979), founded in 2017. With his Instinctive Performance approach, Miotto explores what dance can be. It starts from the idea that our experience of the world settles in our bodies, in the depths of our subconscious. It invites movement that frees the body from the straitjacket of social conventions and encourages the activation of layers of instinctive physical knowledge.  

The company has made productions including Ball (2018), Portraits (2019), Bolistas (2021), Poles (2023) and Mondo Perfetto (2024). Alongside its shows, Corpo Máquina Society develops participation projects that connect people through movement, regardless of age or background.
