DANSLAB 3 offers the ultimate chance to get acquainted with the newest generation of makers in contemporary dance. Exciting choreographies follow one another at breakneck speed in this brand-new show. From the stunning dancing of Sellam El Achari and the powerful work of Anne Suurendonk to the brotherly collaboration of Justin de Jager & Sem Deliveyne. Before their work hits the stage, the makers introduce themselves and their work to you – on video.
DANSLAB is an initiative of SALLY and talent developer Via Zuid. It is the platform for experiment and innovation in contemporary dance in the south of the Netherlands. In the ‘lab’, new makers are given space to experiment with dance styles, modern interpretations, challenging themes and unexpected combinations. They present the results of this adventurous, exciting research in a grand finale in the theatre. Visitors to DANSLAB are therefore the first to see the latest choreographies by new, up-and-coming talent.
