De Kersthaas (4+)
A contrary show for all children who sometimes have different plans from their parents.
Father Christmas’s son has a problem: he doesn’t like hot chocolate, snow or skiing, and on top of that he’s allergic to Christmas trees and reindeer. He much prefers spring, hares and coloured eggs. Truth be told, what he’d really like to be when he grows up is the Easter Bunny. But his father won’t hear of it. His son MUST succeed him as Father Christmas – even his great-great-great-grandfather filled children’s stockings. It’s been a family tradition for centuries…
Pop-up expert Rianne van Duin is creating a gigantic, fairytale pop-up set for this show. The story is based on the picture book by Marc-Uwe Kling (creator of the NEE-hoorn).
Based on the book of the same name by Marc-Uwe Kling and Astrid Henn, translated by Jaap Robben, published by Uitgeverij Volt.
