Fimme Bakker
You may know Fimme Bakker from the Groninger Studenten Cabaret Festival, where he won the jury prize in 2023, or from Ben je bezopen?, the show he performed with his father Bram Bakker. But now he’s going solo with his first full-length show: Zwaargewicht.
Fimme is a man of extremes. Once addicted to drink and drugs, now addicted to food. He has a bottomless stomach and an insatiable appetite. In Zwaargewicht he looks for relief: why is enough never enough? But don’t worry, this won’t be a heavy evening. This is cabaret as it should be: sharp, funny and painfully recognisable – even if you don’t have an eating problem yourself.
With his razor-sharp humour, musical talent and unfiltered honesty, Fimme takes you along on his search for control, balance and everything we try to suppress. Get ready for a delicious evening of cabaret – no calories, but plenty of flavour.
