LIFT
Top comedians Jelka van Houten and Sanne Wallis de Vries shine in LIFT, a razor-sharp new comedy by Kees Prins and Roel Bloemen. Two childhood friends meet again at a funeral after many years. One offers the other a lift home, and it turns into a bizarre and disorienting road trip. Memories, incomprehension, missed turnings and confrontational crossroads are the tried-and-tested ingredients of this hilarious evening at the theatre.
Following the huge success of EEN MAN EEN MAN, with Pierre Bokma and Kees Prins and, in its revival, Peter Blok and Peter Heerschop, Kees Prins and Roel Bloemen have once again written an absurd comedy about friendship. Its infectiously wicked humour is tailor-made for Jelka van Houten (Tropenjaren and LOL: Last One Laughing, among others) and Sanne Wallis de Vries (Koefnoen, Hockeyvaders and Mees Kees, among others).
Writer: Kees Prins and Roel Bloemen
Director: Kees Prins
