Loïs Lane is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year! For four decades this iconic Dutch band has won the hearts of music lovers with its unique mix of pop, rock and funk. From their first hits in the 80s to their timeless influence on Dutch music, Suzanne and Monique Klemann have always pushed boundaries. With an impressive body of legendary songs such as ‘I Wanna Be’, ‘Amsterdamned’, ‘Tonight’ and ‘It’s The First Time’, they have proved that they don’t just follow musical trends – they set them.
Their unmistakable sound and catchy lyrics have made a big impression on stages both at home and abroad. As pioneers in the music world, sisters Suzanne and Monique Klemann have made the band synonymous with creativity and strength. They not only made great music, but always stuck their necks out to remain artistically and culturally innovative. The pair have always stayed true to their own musical taste and, by refusing to compromise, have not always taken the easiest path.
